Our 30 minute guided tour allows visitors full access behind the scenes of the manufacturing and creative process that goes into every piece of Belleek fine china, produced on site since 1857. Your dedicated guide will then walk you through our factory, where you will see first hand the 16 steps that goes into every piece of Belleek. Our craftspeople will demonstrate moulding, flowering, painting and basket weaving. Visitor participation is encouraged throughout the tour, glazing product and breaking pieces that do not meet the required standard. Visitors will then be able to browse our retail showroom and enjoy refreshments in the Belleek restaurant.

EXPERIENCE 2: The Bloomfield Trail Family Experience

This interactive children’s trail tells the story of how the pottery is made using the character of our founder Mr. Bloomfield. A series of 16 hand drawn, colorful ceramic plaques are located at key points on the pottery tour.

Children are provided with a trail map at reception on arrival so that as they accompany the adults on the traditional Belleek factory tour they are looking, searching and identifying the plaques. The Bloomfield Trail explains the process of making the pottery in a more child friendly manner as each plaque is inscribed with a short piece of text explaining the accompanying image.

Lots of fun for all the family.

Cost: £8.00 per child this includes a Juice & Muffin + a coffee for the adult
